What can I do to better protect myself, my family, friends or employees from becoming victimized?

This are the types of questions that men and women ponder prior to attending a Refuse To Be A Victim crime prevention and personal safety seminar.

Did you know that there is a 95% chance that you will be come a victim of a crime in your lifetime.  A woman has a 75% chance that she will be come a victim of a violent crime in her lifetime.  With these odds, we need to learn how to refuse to be a victim.  That is the goal of this seminar.

The Refuse To Be A Victim seminar covers the following topics:

  • Personal Security
  • Automobile Security
  • Workplace Safety
  • Technological Security
  • Travel Security
  • Home Security
  • Parents and Children Safety
  • Personal Protection Devices

All of this is covered in a 3 to 4 hour seminar, presented in Lincoln for members of our club, their friends and the community.

The Executive Director of the Virginia Crime Prevention Association had to say on this subject. “Everyone should consider the possibility of, and be prepared to defend themselves from, a criminal attack.  However, if they have not adopted the proven personal safety routines recommended by Refuse to Be A Victim, then they may have surrendered their options of refusing to be a victim of crime.”

LRC would like to extend an offer to attend this seminar presented at the Indoor Range in McBean Park.  Because of limited seating, the seminar will be limited to the first 20 individuals to sign-up. You will get an 80-page student’s handbook and the knowledge to develop a plan for protecting yourself and others.  The class will empower you to be better protected from the criminals in our society.

Aside from attending Instructor Development Training in this subject material, the instructor brings to this seminar over 24 years of law enforcement experience, from patrol officer to police chief, dealing with these issues

Fee:  $20

Seminar: Date TBD - 9:00am to 1:00pm
