In addition, there is a 5 station 16 yard trap range. The range has facilities for shooting at various distances up to 200 yards. Pistol targes may be placed at 10, 25 and 50 yards. Rifle (or long range pistol) targets may be set up at 50, 100 & 200 yards. There are target frames available to be utilized at most distances and fixed target equipment at 200 yards often used for high power shooting matches. Portable restroom facilities are provided. There are no kitchen facilities for cooking or refrigeration so packing snacks is recommended. There is a soda machine on the site. No camping is allowed on the range property.
Check the LRC CALENDAR for scheduled events that may close the range to other shooting. This will assure that your visit will not be in vain because of a scheduled match. Shooting is normally allowed after all match related work and shutdown is completed. If the match ends at say noon, then the range is normally opened to the public until closing hours. Most matches do not run late on weekends.
The Dillman Range is generally open to the public 7 days a week. Bench shooting priority is given to LRC members when the range is full. Club members are required to show their membership card to the Club Certified Safety Officer when signing in because there is never a fee for members. Guest range fees apply at all times that the range is open. The range is generally open on a regular schedule unless an event precludes public shooting. Please call Club Headquarters at (916) 434-0308 for more information.
