Participant Eligibility: Members & Non-Members Eligible Proof of Prior Experience is Required Match Fee: $10 for LRC Members                    $15 for Non-Members

The practical weapons sports were developed from informal shooting matches that incorporated elements more relevant in defensive shooting, such as drawing the gun from the holster, movement, fast target acquisition and multiple targets. For this reason the actual scenarios will not be known to the competitor prior to match day. Each match will be comprised from scenarios developed and approved by the Match staff. Because of time constraints, this series of scenarios will be limited to 4 per match at this time.

The competitors will be briefed on each scenario before the attempting that scenario. Descriptions of the scenarios will be posted, including a diagram of target placement and target type, at the briefing area for that specific scenario. When actually competing in any scenario, a Safety Officer will accompany the competitor.

Various types of targets will be used during this competition, including both paper and steel. The IPSC cardboard targets will be used.

All competitors and match officials, forward of the Dillman Range House, will be required to wear approved eye and ear protection.  It is also strongly suggested that those individuals forward of the Dillman Range House wear head cover with a bill or brim and long sleeved shirt, trousers and shoes that cover their feet (no sandals)
