Take a moment to check your Club Membership Card. Be sure you have an expiration data that has not passed us in time. If your membership is more that 30 days expired, your membership in the Club is at risk. Please call Barbara at Club Headquarter. Bills for the February dues will be in the mail by February 1, 2008.                          Per the Club’s By-laws - Junior’s can range in age from 8 to 21.  Membership is $20.00 per year.  The Junior’s meet every Monday @ 5:00 PM at the Indoor Range in McBean Park.  A Range fee of $1.00 for each relay session is currently collected from each shooter.  The Junior’s Season runs with the school year from September to May.

 

Junior Program Highlights:

Junior Olympic try-outs will be on January 26th & 27th at Sutter.  Junior’s only, with matches in Colorado in March.

 

Competition Corner Update:

In Nevada, at the ‘Best in the west’ competition, 20 Juniors from Lincoln competed.  LRC took first place with Olivia, Dustin and Lorie as a team.  At the Sebastapol competition  a new shooter from Lincoln, Dustin, did quite well.

 

Fundraising Activities:

                 There is a $500 Sportsman’s Warehouse Gift Card Raffle.

 

General Information:

The juniors meet every Monday (excluding holidays) @5:00 PM in the McBean Park Indoor Rifle Range.  The cost of membership is $20.00 plus a weekly range fee of $1.00 for each relay entered.  The junior season runs with the School year from Sept through May.  For more information email Juniors08@lincolnrifleclub.com.

Text Box: Junior Division By: Ron W(Edit) Text Box: Lincoln Rifle Club’s PARTICIPATION PROGRAM for ADULT CLUB MEMBERS Each year, the Club sponsor’s the PARTICIPATION PROGRAM. If you know what it is, read no further - BUT, if you don’t know (or have forgotten) read on. What you learn in the following paragraph may mean the difference between OWNING A NEW RIFLE, and watching SOME ONE ELSE OWN A NEW RIFLE. Here is how it works: Participate in any activity sponsored by the LRC (except meetings) During the event, have the match director, chairperson, or project director of the activity initial the back of your LRC membership card. Collect as many “initials” as you can during the calendar year by participating in an many events/matches as you can. Bring your membership card (s) to the Awards Dinner the following January and receive one raffle ticket for each initial on the back of your card. The more initials the more tickets, and the more chances to WIN. All ticket stub will be placed in the drawing for the RIFLE. Tickets for this RIFLE cannot be purchased. JUST FOR THE RECORD - your participation must be verified by obtaining the initials for the activity director on the back of your membership card. NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY!
