Text Box: FRANK R. (Moe) NEVAREZ 11/18/1924 - 09/13/2007 Passed away at home after a short illness surrounded by his family on September 13, 2007 Frank was born in Wheatland, CA. He was raised in Lincoln, CA and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. He served in the US Army Air Corps. After the war, he worked for McClellan AFB until his retirement in 1981. Frank joined the Lincoln Rifle Club in 1937 and held every office there was in the LRC. He enjoyed shooting High Power Rifle and rarely put a bullet out of the X-ring shooting offhand (That is a 3” ring at 200 yards!) with a production rifle. After the matches Frank would entertain people with his stories. Donations may be made to Kaiser Hospice or hospice of your choice.

GREAT NEWS UPDATE 10-19-07

Dillman Range is open to members and guests on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. These hours will be maintained as long as weather permits, and a demand for the range exists. The range will continue to be open every week day after 4:00 p.m. for members and guests. The Board of Directors has determined that a Club Certified Safety Officer will be on duty any time shots are fired from the Dillman Range. The weekend schedules continues as posted. Club members are required to display their membership card when at the ranges.
