News from the Club’s Board of Directors

By Barbara W(Edit)

At the Board of Director’s meeting in January, the board adopted a resolution to set the number of directors for the Club at seven. Currently, we have two Officers/Directors (Leonard and Peter) who were elected in January of 2007 and their terms as Officer/Directors will continue until March 31, 2008.

The other two Officers/Directors (Barbara and Len) have terms that would have expired in December 2007, but with the organizational change their terms expire at the annual meeting in April 2007. If re-elected, their new terms as Officers/Directors will continue until March 31, 2009. Both Barbara and Len seek reelection to their positions:

Barbara W(Edit) – 2 year term as Treasurer/Board of Directors
Len V(Edit) – 2 year term as Vice President/Board of Directors

Additional nominations for these Officer/Director positions will be accepted and are encouraged.

Three additional members to the Board of Directors need to be nominated and elected at our Annual Meeting in April. After considerable discussion, the existing Board of Directors proposes the following slate of persons to fill the remaining 3 vacancies. The Board feels that these people have the background and experience needed to help guide the Club at this time. The existing Board of Directors nominate the following candidates for election to the Board of Directors:
