	Club membership now stands at 869, including Life and Honorary Members.  Renewal notices for February renewals were mailed mid-January and should have been received by all members holding membership cards with an expiration date of February 28, 2007.  Dues are due and payable upon receipt of your renewal notice and are late if not paid by the last day of that month.  Proof of current membership in the NRA is required in order to renew your membership in Lincoln Rifle Club.

If you did not receive your renewal, or have any questions regarding membership, please feel free to call me .

One last reminder – Please be sure to let me know when your address, telephone, or e-mail address changes.  This goes a long way to ensure that you will continue to receive Club communications.

Text Box: 	Per the Club’s By-Laws Junior’s can range in age from 8 to 21.  Membership is $20.00 a year.  A Range Fee of $1.00 per range session is currently collected.
	
We meet on Monday nights, during the school year, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Indoor Range.

Y.E.S. (Youth Education Summit) Announcement -
Free Summer Program for Sophomores and High 
School Students.

	This week-long program is spent learning about the NRA, US Federal Government, and the Military.  Previous groups have met NRA’s Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre, toured Capitol Hill, spent a day at the Quantico Training Center, visited the White House, the Smithsonian Museum and more.  Scheduled for June 19 - 25, application deadline is April 1st.  Interested?

	The Foothills Friends of the NRA Annual Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn.  Please mark your calendars!!

	The Foothills Friends of the NRA is a charitable fundraising group for the greater Auburn area.  This committee of volunteers raises funds to support various Northern California and local Auburn area projects associated with shooting sports, gun safety, youth training programs, wildlife conservation, public shooting range facilities, and other public service activities.  The LRC has received several large grants from the proceeds of these dinners over the past years.  Last years’ dinner raised almost $50,000!!
