It was approved by the Executive Committee at the meeting of April 18, 2006 to increase the deposit for Dillman Range keys. The current fee for the key deposit does not cover the cost of having the keys made. Effective June 1, 2006, the deposit will raise to $10. In addition, the fee for replacement of a lost/stolen/misplaced key will be $25. It is hoped that the land to place a berm on the southeast side of the Dillman Range will soon be ours. When the time comes, we may need to close the Dillman Range for a short period to move the fence and build the berm. We will make sure that it is announced in advance to all members via the newsletter, the web site, the Dillman Range telephone message and posted at the Dillman Range. The Lincoln Police Department was generous enough to give us a new container for storage of targets and other property used by the Club at the Dillman Range. This new container is very much appreciated and will soon join the other storage container down range. Some work will need to be done on the containers to make them more weather proof and help to organize them for better storage. If interested, let the Range Master know so that a time and date can be set-up to get this work done. Best be done before the hot weather hits us. There are only eight more months until the Club’s elections. The position of the President, the Secretary and a minimum of five Range Committee members will be elected. Please give your consideration to running for one of these position or give thought to members you know that can help lead the LRC into the future. Remember this is YOUR Club so help make it the best it can be. Contact me at [( (916) (edit) or jaare(edit) |
