After a project is completed, fill in this form, sign it and have the coordinator validate with his/her signature and date. Return before your “Anniversary Date” for proper current year Work Assessment credit. Bring to a monthly meeting and place in the box provided, near the membership table, or mail to the Club’s P.O. Box. If this form is not retuned on time, credit will not be included in membership dues renewal calculations.

An example of a scenario a competitor could be confronted with would be a layout of 15 targets to be engaged.  The competitor would start in a firing box with his handgun loaded and holstered.  At the sound of the buzzer from the electronic timer, the competitor would draw his weapon, fire two shoots each at three ISPC paper targets placed 10 yards forward of the firing line.  The competitor would then move to the left about 5 yards to a second firing box.  Here the competitor would be required to pick up a pre-positioned shotgun loaded with not more than 4 rounds of 00 buckshot, fire at 5 reactive steel targets placed 15 yards in front of the firing box, knocking them all down, reloading as needed to complete this task.  Next the competitor would move to a third firing box and engage the rack of 6 steel targets at a range of 20 yards from the firing box, knocking all of these targets down with the handgun, reloading as needed.  For the final stage of this scenario the competitor would be required to shoot a steel reactive target at a range of 75 yards with the rifle pre-positioned at that point, using any safe firing position, however the target is partially concealed behind a hostage target, once this target is knocked to the other side, the time stops.

As you can see, there is a lot of shooting and action involved in this scenario and this is just one of four the competitor would be required to complete to finish the match.

I know, now that I’ve perked your interest you want to know how you can get involved.  These matches are held the first Saturday of every month, rain or shine, at the Dillman Range.  Registration starts are 7:30 AM and we hope to finish before 3 PM.  The match fee is $10 and will go toward the expenses of the matches and awards at our 2006 Awards Dinner, next January.  We have a Tyro scenario at the beginning of each match, if necessary; to qualify new shooters that have never had any exposure to this form of shooting.  The intent of this scenario is to show to the match staff that the new shooter has the required level of skills to safely compete in our matches.
