Text Box: Yearly Shooting Events: {Eye and Ear protection always required.} {Fee applies to each occurrence of the event.} Trap: The first Sunday of each month, starting at 8:00 AM. Contact Jim (Edit). Sporting Rifle: The matches start in July and run through August. See Cal (Edit) for sign-ups. Club High-Power: Club members only�Normally runs from April to September, on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Set-up begins at 4:30 PM and the match begins at 5:00 PM. Fee of $1.00. Shoot 20 rounds for record at 200 yards with iron sights (10 slow & 10 rapid fire) and take turns pulling targets. Club rifles are available. Ammo is available at $5.00 and FAB-10 at $7.00. Six matches must be fired to be eligible for awards. NRA High-Power: Open to Public - (Normally) shoot most months, generally on the third Saturday of each month. Set-up begins at 7:30 AM and the match begins at 8:00 AM. Fee of $15.00. Shoot 50 rounds for record (30 slow & 20 rapid fire), with 8 sighters, at 200 yards, with iron sights, on reduced size targets. Club guns or ammo may be available for a fee. This is an NRA sanctioned match, which qualifies one for the purchase of an M1 Garand through the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). Ladies Night: Normally shot monthly (except for the summer months) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings starting at 6:00 PM, at the Indoor Range. Fee of $1.00. Must be female and 18 or over. Bring a .22 caliber firearm and ammo. Coaches onsite to help. Two pistols have been purchased with the Friends of the NRA grant money, they will be available for use free of charge. Contact Gary (Edit) to reserve them. .22 Conventional Postal Pistol: Normally shot on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings �January through June. Fee of $10.00 to register and $5.00 per night to shoot. Shoot 65 rounds (Slow, timed and rapid fire) at 50 feet offhand, with .22 caliber handguns. We use V2 and V3 targets. Maximum barrel length 10 inches and No laser sights. Must be a Club member. No Club guns or ammo available. Last scheduled night�s targets are mailed to the NRA for match scoring and national ranking. .22 Rifle Winter League: Normally shot on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM � December through April. The match consists of 40 rounds for record on A-17 targets. With .22 caliber rifles all within one hour. Necessary equipment is available, except ammunition. Varmint Shoot: Normally shot June through September on the last Friday evening of the month at 5:15 PM. Fee of $5.00. Shoot 20 rounds, (5 at each range�100, 165, 200 & 220 yards), any caliber, any gun and any position. No sighters or butt-rests. The eye of the critters count for extra points. Ham and Spam Shoot (Black Powder Muzzleloader): Normally shot during the Spring. Fee applies. Shoot 20 rounds (At 50 to 200 meters), traditional and modern style at steel animal silhouettes. Turkey and Spam Shoot (Black Powder Muzzleloader): Normally shot during the Fall and registration starts at 8:00 AM. Fee of $10.00. Shoot 40 rounds (At 50 to 200 meters), traditional and modern style firearms at steel animal silhouettes. The prize is a ham/turkey or a can of ham/turkey Spam! Silhouette (Cast bullets): The matches are held a couple of time a year. See Grant (Edit) for sign-ups.
