Practical Pistol/Shotgun Match

Saturday June 04, 2005 we conducted Lincoln Rifle Clubs’ first Practical Pistol/Shotgun Match.  This was one of four planned for this year.

 

Congratulations to our match winner, Bob (Edit), and thanks to all that came out and shot.  We hope you had fun.

 

Overall the match ran well.  We, both match staff and competitors, learned from the experience and will incorporate that learning into our future matches.

 

Match results are included below.  Some errors were noted on the scoring sheets - more rounds recorded than required for the course of fire and math errors.  For complete results contact Bill at:   (Edit)

 

Our next Match will be July 2, 2005.  Please try to be there at 2 PM, so that we can have all the administrative details out of the way and can put rounds down range at 3 PM.  If you have any friends that would like to shoot and they have had some experience in this sport, please extend an invitation.

 

Registration will be ‘first come’ for the 20 spaces, so please get your registrations into me via the Lincoln Rifle Club web site ASAP.

                 For Club members information, we grossed $130 with this match, which pays for all our current expenses and leaves a little for the Club.  Future matches will raise funds for trophies and add to the Club’s bank account.  Thanks again, Bill.
