Text Box: KINETIC ENERGY                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Page 2 Text Box:                           The Range Committee will generally meet at the Indoor Range/Club House on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  All club members are invited to attend.  [Next meeting is 04/21/05]        The range Committee met on 03/17/05 at the Indoor Range.  Several items of interest were discussed.  They included suggestions about modification of Club Membership, range maintenance issues and new matches for the year.  While our chairman is recovering from a serious injury last month, the committee is still charging on.        We need HELP.  We have several projects that need volunteers.  Dennis L(Edit)  , our Range Master, (916 (Edit)  ), will act as a point of contact, but we need not only workers, but supervision for these projects.  They include improvements to the Trap House by trenching around the building, installing a French drain and sealing the foundations to preclude the leaking that is now accruing; completion of the approved project for sidewalks behind the rifle/pistol and trap ranges, including a pad; and putting down 3 loads of gravel for walkways down range and in the parking lot.  Additionally, a podium with microphone and speaker (s) needs to be constructed for use during the Monthly Business Meetings and other Club events.        As for the new matches, the committee has approved four Practical Pistol/Shotgun matches.  These matches will be conducted during the summer, from June through September, on the first Saturday of the month, starting at 3 P.M..  More details will be published on the Club’s web site.  After March, any additional Saturday NRA High Power Matches will need to be requested by the Club and approved by NRA.        Again, the committee would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in getting more involved with our Club.  Just come to our monthly meeting.  We are always looking for individuals that would like to contribute to the betterment of our Club.  We meet at  7 P.M. on the third Thursday Text Box: Club Drawing Winners   (Drawing’s are held at the Monthly Club Business Meeting’s)   February   No Drawing this month   March   Mary Kay Targets Gun Sleeve Hat Ammo Pouch Gun Cleaner Text Box: Club Drawing Winners (Drawing’s are held at the Monthly Club Business Meeting’s) February No Drawing this month March Mary Kay Targets Gun Sleeve Hat Ammo Pouch Gun Cleaner Text Box: (Continued from page 1) Please help us keep the ranges, meeting rooms, etc. clean, neat and maintained in the proper and safe condition for ALL to use.          To further facilitate the conducting of the General Business Meetings, we need a Membership Chairperson.  Bill P(Edit)  has volunteered to help at meetings and do the membership database.  Anyone interested in helping as the Membership Chairperson, please contact Barbara W(Edit) or me.
