If you notice something wrong with your address please notify me as soon as possible. Club Membership is covered by Article III, Section 6 and Article IV, Sections 1 and 2. Please remember to renew your membership on time! Late renewal fees are applicable after the March General Business Meeting! All those not renewed by this meeting are removed from Membership! Text Box: The Range Committee will generally meet at the Indoor Range/Club House on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. All club members are invited to attend. Next meeting is (06/17/04). The Range Committee, with input from the Executive Committee and the Range Master, has revised the Dillman Range Rules. These Range Rules were approved during the May General Business Meeting. The new Range Rules are on our web page at www.lincolnrifleclub.com. With this newsletter each member now has a copy. We hope these rules will clarify some situations and issues that have occurred in the past. With that said, I hope those using the Range will have a better understanding of what is acceptable and what is unacceptable at our Range. If you have any questions about the Rules, feel free to give me a call at (916) 991-5971. I am sure the other Officer’s and elected members will also answer any questions you may have. We have a very nice Range and we have a lot of members. Pick up after yourselves, treat the other guy or gal like you would like to be treated! Take care of our RANGECOMMITTEE Text Box: CURRENT MEMBERSHIP Our total membership continues to increase every month! This March’s Business Meeting had 18 New Applications completed. Current Members 562+ Life Members 43 Juniors Approximately 75 Text Box: 05/28— Dillman Range closed for the evening to set up for the NRA 3P Smallbore Match 05/29 and 30—NRA 3P (Positions) State Smallbore Match 06/19—Cast Bullet Silhouette Match 07/07—2004 NRA National Junior Air Gun Team Championship Postal (Conventional) Pistol Matches are now taking place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays through June. Club High Power and NRA High Power Match (s) have started and CCW Classes are now scheduled at least once a month, see calendar. Cast Bullet Silhouette rules starting with the next match on June 19th. Two classes of rifles will be used—scoped and iron sights. Entry fee of $5.00 and the gate will open at 7:30 a.m. Club Membership Safety Training/Key Briefing Class—now required before obtaining a Range Key - are held in the Indoor Range, on the 1st Thursdays at 7:00, before the Monthly Business Meeting. A signed Class Attendance Form, a Current Membership Card and $5.00 are needed at the time of purchase. Deer Sight-in is an optional special event that may be held by the Club. Currently scheduled for 09/11/2004, any changes will be announced at a regularly scheduled Business Meeting. Hunter Safety Training schedule information: Those in the Lincoln area can contact the Lincoln Police Department [(916) 645-3391], those in Roseville [(916) 728-5500], those in Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Folsom and Sacramento should all contact their local Parks & Recreation District and those in the Yuba City area can call [(530) 671-9250]. Range—it’s the only one we have.  With the “political correctness” in the air, we only need one screw-up, accident, mishap or stupid prank to risk losing this Range.
