Text Box: The Lincoln Rifle Club (LRC) participates in the Sierra Foothill Smallbore Postal League each year. The league consists of 6 Clubs located throughout Northern California. Last year LRC tied with North Bay for Second Place in the league. Shooters of all levels are invited to participate on Lincoln’s team every year at the Indoor Range. The cost for the season is a one-time $20.00 Registration fee. And a $1.00 Range fee is charged each time shooters participate. Each Tuesday evening starting at 6:00 P.M. shooters will fire 40 rounds in 55 minutes from the following positions: Prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling (10 rounds each) The A-17 targets are used and posted at 50-feet Each shooter assists with scoring of the targets Although the Lincoln Team proudly includes many “expert” shooters, the novice is welcome and greeted and treated to a place on the shooting line. The “experts” are always willing to help new shooters. If you are interested in additional information, please plan to visit the Indoor Range any Tuesday evening between 5:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., and someone will be happy to show you around. Participate and WIN a VALUABLE Prize! The “prize” (last year a .54 Caliber Traditions Black Powder Cap Lock) varies year-to-year, but it always relates to the shooting sports! <br><br><br><br>The Lincoln Rifle Club will continue the “Participation Program” for the 2003 calendar year. Here is how it works: <br><br>Do not discard your 2003 LRC Membership Card until after the Annual Dinner. Participate in any activity sponsored by the Lincoln Rifle Club (except the monthly business meeting). During the activity have the match director or chairperson of the activity initial the back of your 2003 LRC Membership Card Collect as many “initials” as you can during the calendar year by participating in as many events/matches as you can. Bring that membership card to the next Annual Awards Dinner (Usually January of the next year) and receive one raffle ticket for each initial on the back of your card. The more initials, the more tickets, and the more chances to WIN! All ticket stubs will be placed in a special bucket for this PRIZE. These tickets for the drawing cannot be purchased...they must be earned by participation!
