Dates:

Check the calendar for scheduled dates.

Range opens at 7:30 a.m. There will be practice shooting.

Where: At the Dillman Range, Lincoln Rifle Club

Entries: $5 except for Dave Tutt match, $1 per shot. Advanced entries requested by email.

Classifications:

Unmodified Colt (open top) revolvers: Original or replica Colt-type percussion revolvers with fixed, factory sights.

Any other (e.g., Remington, Ruger and other revolvers that shoot approximately to point of aim, such as a Colt with a non-factory front sight): Original or replica percussion revolvers.

Other Equipment: black powder or BP substitute. Spotters, binoculars and spotting scopes are permitted.

Course of fire: shooter must shoot standing. Two hands permitted.

The shooter may shoot the assigned targets in any order. If an assigned target falls, it counts as a hit even if shot by another shooter’s cross-fire.

50 meter sage hens (chickens), 12 rounds in two stages.

25 meter lambs (smallbore rams), 12 rounds in three stages.

Dave Tutt match:

Dave Tutt and James Hickok shot at each other across the town square, a distance of 75 yards. Tutt shot first and missed. Hickok aimed and shot Tutt in the heart, killing him. The Dave Tutt match will be one shot, re-entry until the shooter hits the black. Distance 75 yards, $1 per shot. Closest to the center wins. The pot goes to the winner.
