Conventional Center Fire Pistol Match

Rules: Current NRA Pistol Rules will govern these matches. An “F” Class
(two-hands) will be allowed, but scores will be compiled outside of the other
competitors’ scores. Course of fire will consist of 20 rounds, Slow-Fire at 50
yards, 20 rounds, Timed-Fire, and 20 rounds, Rapid-Fire at 25 yards. 3 minutes
for unlimited sighters at 50 yards allowed before firing for record. Targets –
50 yard (B-6); 25 yard (B-8) (may be Tagboard or
Paper; Repair Centers may be used for sighters)
(Note – For these matches, Center Fire Pistol is defined in Rule 3.2 of
the NRA Pistol Rules. (partial listing of rule)
Pistols or Revolvers, .32 caliber or larger, barrel length, including
cylinders, not more than 10 inches, trigger pull for revolver not less that 2 ˝
pounds, .45 caliber semiautomatic pistol trigger pull not less than 3 ˝ pounds.
Sights may be adjustable, but not over ten inches apart measured from the apex
of the rear sight of the apex of the front sight. Any sights, except those sights
which project an image on the target are allowed.)
Registration/Range Fee: $5.00 each day.
Entry Limit: First 18 shooters registered each day. (range
and time limitations)
Competition Open To: Members of the Lincoln Rifle Club & Jr. Div.,
Inc., 18 years or older.
Range Schedule:
4:00 PM – Range opens, begin sign-up/registration. Set up for Match.
5:00 PM – Competition begins.
Sunset – Competition ends and range closes.
